Here's the break down: 0800-1200 Muster/Small Unit Tactics Class/Practical 1200-1330 Personal Camouflage Class/Practical 1330-1530 Patrolling Class/Prisoner Handling/Practical 1830-1900 Mission Brief/Prep 2000-0001 Mission Insert/Conduct Operation Concept: Teams will be given the above instruction and practical work throughout the day and insert at 2000 for the mission. Mission: Two American contractors have been confirmed captured in the Balosh Province in southern Afghanistan by predator drones and under a "sentence of death" by Taliban leaders at midnight on the day of receipt of these orders. 1. Meet/establish contact with indigenous agent at UTM GD8443-2741. Follow agent to know courier locations. Agent has a low A-3 rating. Exercise caution. 2.Use all teams to set "Point and Area Ambushes" at known locations of Taliban couriers who are believed to carry intelligence as to location of captives. 3. Capture/Kill couriers. 4. Disseminate intelligence/locate hostages. 5. Use any means available to rescue captives. Additional Instructions: This mission is Priority 1. Amed Azuse AlLehaary, leader of this province clan, has shown resolve during the conflict and executed three hostages on 4-7-07 after threatening to do so. Intelligence agencies believe his threat is CAT 1 and Highly Probable. Teams have level 1 Rules of Engagement to secure captives using any and all means available. If Allehaary is present on target, attempt his capture without killing.
